“We stayed in Ocean View room at The Sunset, and there is nothing better than to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the Indian Ocean…only to enjoy your evening glass of wine watching spectacular (the best on the Island) sunset!!! Christmas Island is amazing island with all sorts or nature beauty. Great snorcheling, diving, trekking, bird watching, crab migration, rain forest, warm sea, whale sharks, and so on, and so on. No wonder they call it Galapagos of Indian Ocean! We would love to come back again and then we will stay in Superior Ocean View room, where you can enjoy sunset from your private balcony! Thank you very much once again, Angela!” Marianna2002 Singapore, Singapore“We stayed at the Sunset which had great views (take a top floor Ocean View Room), and was clean, comfortable and run a very friendly and informative couple. It’s more akin to a motel, and no food is available, so you need a car (4×4 is best!) to get around, but you do get a fridge, microwave and toaster, and there is a pub a short stroll away (better food available a short drive away). Free internet access as well. It’s certainly not full service, but Sunset does exactly what it needs to do, and I didn’t see anything better. Nice little pool to relax in (as you can’t access the sea from our front as it’s too rocky). Highly and happily recommended.” MoonchildBee, London, UK
